Heavyweight Christian Morecraft has signed a four-fight deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship and meets fellow youngster Stefan Struve in August at UFC 117.

Morecraft looks to improve to 7-0 during the fight, which was first reported by MMA FIght Council.

UFC officials have not officially announced the fight, which takes place Aug. 7 at Oracle Arena in Oakland. The night's main card airs on pay-per-view, though Morecraft vs. Struve is expected to be part of the night's unaired preliminary card.

The 23-year-old, 6-foot-5, 265-pound Morecraft is based in Massachusetts and trains with Cape Cod Mixed Martial Arts in Plymouth. Since turning pro in April 2008, he's posted six consecutive first-round stoppages. None has lasted longer than two minutes and 40 seconds.
